ReDrilling a Columbia Cuda C
« on: October 13, 2011, 05:35:11 AM »
I picked up an old Columbia Cuda C. The ball is on its second drill. The label is in the palm and the pin to the right of the ring finger.

I want plug it, refinish and redrill it pin under my ring finger, with none of my track havinge plug material in it.  To do this, I will have to spin the ball around, placing the label  upside down, slightly above and slightly to the right of my ring finger.

My question is will this matter since this ball is symmetric? As I see it, the controlling factor should be pin to pap. I know that I will be able to manipulate ball reaction with a weight hole if needed after I see how this thing rolls. Can't wait to drill it up.

Thanks

What is the topweight on the ball?

This is what is going to dictate whether what you want can be done.

That and where the x-hole will be when you get done. An x-hole where it sounds like it might end up may have an unwanted impact on the balls overall performance.
