thumbs as well as fingers swell with the weather humidity, time of the year, body chemistry (morning, noonn, or night), amount of salt or beer or coffee consumed.
I glue the the inserts at the sides and put shims (cut up busiess cards) in the back of the fingers between the insert and the drilled hole. 1, 2 , 3 depening on the how my fingers fit. Take them out and install them with a small flat bladed screwdriver, as needed.
FIngers will swell up as you warmup, in the winter, once you have gotten inside the center and as you warm up during practice. Then remove 1 or 2 or whatever, or as you drink coffee or beer.
