Title: Research on Pin to Midplane distance?

I've read research about Pin to VAL distance on entry angle. And right now I'm interested in finding any research on Pin to Midplane distance which is supposedly influencing the distance the ball travel down the lane before it starts to hook. I need a real research data, not just the opinions that says like 'High pin give more length and low pin hooks early'.

The data needed is something like;
(assuming a constant revs, ball speed, same length of conditioner)
Pin to Midplane = length in feet
      2.0"      =     41.1
      2.25"     =     42.4 <--- these are just examples,

So, if any of you have any link of the above research please tell me. Thanks in advance.

Raising the pin raises the effective RG, which delays roll.  I know it's not the scientific data you're looking for, but that's the underlying cause.

It has less to do with the length the bal gets than it has to do with the time that it takes th eball to through the different phases of skid/hook/roll. basically, the times get shorter. The amount of length is less important.
