Anybody tried a Rico on a high rg ball?
« on: October 28, 2007, 07:56:25 AM »
I've drilled two different balls with the "Rico" layout in the last year.  I've loved them both, but now I'd like something that goes alittle longer.  So, I was thinking punching up a Venus with the "Rico" layout.

Has anybody tried a High rg ball with this layout?  Did it still push without getting to flippy?  Opinions...???

The purpose of the layout is to make the ball as low RG as possible, so doing it to a high RG ball just cancels out the effect.  I think you would be caught up in a situation of getting too cute with layouts and end up with a ball that you will never throw.

Just my opinion.
