RICO DRILL For a High Tracker (Will it Clip Fingers?)
« on: December 23, 2005, 06:36:54 AM »
Ok, just curious. I track pretty high (Close to my middle finger and near edge of thumb).

PAP Coordinates: 5 1/2 > 5/8 ^

If I put the Rico Layout on a ball (symmetrical or asymmetrical) will I clip any of the finger holes?

Thanks!

From my own experience...no!  I have a 5-1/2" x 1-3/8" PAP and I didn't have any issues with the two balls I drilled with a Rico.

Not this again!

Basically, put the pin in the center of the grip and the CG at 4:30.  Drill a weight hole 6 3/4" from the pin through the CG (so in the very low thumb quadrant).  It's supposed to be a very smooth drilling with lots of midlane read.  It was very "in" last season since it was featured on Brunswick Insiders.  I don't know that the page is still there from last season.

My rico drilled powergroove is actually pulling my track towards a full roller, and on shots I really get on it at the bottom, when the ball flares downlane it's thumping the thumbhole on the inside part of it.  I am thinking I may have to use a bigger deeper weighthole and not care about going past legal specs.  Any suggestions?
