Rico Drill Pattern
« on: June 08, 2008, 06:01:25 PM »
Is it safe to say that this drill pattern will work on almost any ball?
I myself have a Brunswick Sidewinder drilled this way and will be drilling up a second Twisted Fury with this pattern..I only ask cause I was questioned on whether it would be suitable for a Complete NV..I've read reviews of it on some Brunswick,Morich ,Track and I believe a Lane#1 balls, but none on this ball..
Anyone?

IMHO, yes, the Rico drilling will work on any ball, IF
1. you understand how this ball was design to react, and IF
2. you understand how this ball will react for your release, and IF
3. you understand how this ball will react for your release on the oil pattern for which you intend to use it, and IF
4. you understand how the Rico Drilling will change a ball's reaction for your release, compared to a more "average" drilling.

Other than that, no sweat!
(and, no, I'm not kidding.)

I have a Complete NV with the rico layout. It works very well for me. It's very strong (as long as you are not on a total flood or compete toast), yet controllable.

Cool thank you both..I was just asking cause the guy who drilled my ball asked..
And I wasn't sure what to tell him..He and his brother just took over the pro shop here in good ol sunny/hot Tucson AZ.that drills my equipment after their father(Andy Clark) passed away about 2 weeks ago...Andy had been drilling all my equipment for 12yrs..
Again thank you for your feedback...
