I have a Layout that I really like on an asymmetrical ball.Its 65 x 3 3/8 x 25.Its off Mos recommended layouts for tracks less than 12 degrees of tilt.If I wanted to drill a symmetrical ball like this what would angles and pin to pap be.Any help appreciated.

Mo also has layouts for Symmetrical core as well as Asymmetrical. Use the symmetrical layout that matches the layout you like. If it's the control layout for the asymmetrical, use the control layout off the symmetrical layout sheet! Just my $.02, Bruce

The drilling you stated was off of Mo's old drilling sheet. He has since released a set of drillings for symmetrical balls. Pin to pap, val angle, balance hole location and surface are the biggest concerns when drilling symmetricals.

Usually, going to sym. from assym.--you want to go with longer pin to pap distances. Your assym. drilling allows the ball to store energy and then be stronger on the back. IMO you would have to go with a longer pin distance to get the sym. to do the same thing.
