Claw Grip

I recently heard of a grip called the "Claw Grip" mentioned. What exactly is a Claw Grip?

I always thought that the "Claw Grip" was a shorter span with a lot of forward pitch such as 1/4 - 3/8 or more in the fingers and forward pitch in the thumb. Thus the ball would hang loosely in your hand with no pressure from neither thumb not fingers enabling you to hold on to it.

Seems back around 2002 or 2003 or close to that area, I heard something about a grip like this and they called it a "Claw Grip", but never knew the exact details, thus my reason for asking here.

True I lost all reverse in thumb went from 1/8 rev 1/8 left to 1/8 forward 0 lat, lost about 1/4 rev in each finger from 1/2 rev and shortened the span 1/8 th on the ring finger to compensate.

The ball hangs on my hand just long enough to get more on it without any hiiting up anymore, less is way more in this case. Rev rate went up about 30-40 rpms and tilt is slightly increased by a few degrees.
