I have been wondering this for a long time, but with my style in your opinions how would a Rico drilling effect my ball reaction? Really trying to decide what drill pattern I want to get on a new ball or maybe test first on an old ball....
I am a speed dominate player and am most comfortable playing the track area. My PAP is generally in the 5 x 0 range. Let me know what you think or if you need more specifics to give your opinion.

Although I would put it on a test ball first, the rico drilling is definitely worth trying.
I'm similar to you, PAP 4 5/8 x 5/8 up, slightly speed dominate.
I rico'd an old Dynothane Vendetta 44 Magnum last summer just to try it, and that ball has since became one of my favorites - very even reacting and smooth, expecially on sport patterns. I say give it a shot!
