I have a Rico layout on a Storm Lights Out and while throwing it today it seemed be rolling over the thumbhole. The lanes I was bowling were fairly toasty, could that have contributed to the rolling on the thumbhole or could it be a layout issue with my bowling style? I ask because a Rico layout is very unique. Any advice you can give would greatly appreciated.

Thumb hole, finger hole, or weight hole. Did you see where the oil is tracking on the ball? (Flare rings)
-
Oil rings are about half inch to the left of the middle finger hole and running over the left side of the thumbhole.

Where is your track on other balls

Same, maybe a little further left but not over the thumbhole.

My last question out of curiosity. Has it done this on other conditions or just the dry conditions?
-
This is only the 2nd time I have thrown it. The first was on fresh oil and I didn't have the issue.

Fro me, the RICO layout raises my track to the point of almost clipping the left edge of my Middle Finger hole (Right-handed). Even more so when the lanes are near toast or toast, the drier conditions make the flare lines migrate upward is what I have seen.

That might explain what happened tonight, the lanes were a bit toasty. I will have to throw it again, but with a little oil out there.
