« on: January 22, 2013, 09:13:00 PM »
Drilled a Roto Grip Scream to try my hand at the layout. It didnt look quite right but it hooks...... a lot for a ball with a high rg low diff.

Ball specs
3 7/8" pin, 3.03 oz top weight

Layout
64x4x30, hole 7/8" 3" deep
Fingers drilled 3 1/2" deep
Thumb drilled 3" deep

Ending weights:
3/4 oz side, <5/8 oz finger

I really thought one of the weights you reported was top/bottom instead of finger/thumb.  --  JohnP

I tried to read up about this term and layout on bowlingchat.net but there's not really much about this kind of layout in the Wiki.

So with that said, what is the design purpose for this sort of layout and what kind of reaction would be expected?

Has the info on the layout below

…… you can't  add a physics term to a bowling term and expect it to mean something.

Oh, no. Just listed the box top weight. But thanks for correcting me. Had a brain fart.
