Rogue Cell layout
« on: March 15, 2009, 06:19:43 AM »
alright, my Rogue Cell that I won here on BR will be on its way soon. I was considering how to lay it out and where to place it in my arsenal.(current arsenal in sig. and stats in profile) I was thinking giving it a 4x4 pin up with a 1 1/2" or 2" pin buffer and taking the surface to 2000 abralon and then polishing my Bounty.

OR going with a 5x5 with a 2" pin buffer at OOB finish and maybe adding a light polish to it after i throw it and see how it reacts compared to how the Bounty is now.

I'm open to any suggestions
--------------------
My Arsenal:
Bounty(4.5 x 4.75 Fresh 1000 Abralon)
Twisted Fury(5 x 4 500 Abralon + Reacta Shine)
Raw Hammer Pain(Leverage 1000 Abralon)
Blue Vibe(5 x 5 4000 Abralon + Reacta Shine)

Go to the MoRich website, look in Mo's Corner for his dual angle layout method.  Skip down to near the end, where he discusses how to apply the technique to various bowler's characteristics - unless you want to read all the rest, which talks about how to actually lay the ball out for drilling.  Honestly evaluate your style and see what angles and pin to PAP you end up with.  I did this on a Red Zone about a year ago.  The layout it suggested was something I would probably have never come up with on my own, 5 1/2" pin to PAP with the pin under the MF.  I put it on the ball and have loved it ever since, until the lanes get too dried out to use it.  --  JohnP
