Title: role of the cg

i understand this topic has probably been covered before and is probably very elementary. but what is the difference if the CG is located closer to the grip center or closer to the PAP? Lets say, whats the difference between the same bowling ball with two different layouts, lets say 5x5 and 5x2 (pin to PAP/CG to PAP). from an article i read on morich's website, the CG being closer to the palm produces a more controlled breakpoint. could i get some clarification on this?

The breakpoint in relation to the cg is on a symmetrical core ball.
On asymmetrical the cg only really determine the side and finger weight. the Mass bias is what will control the break point on these type of ball.

That is how I understand it and what I follow when drilling equipment and its never steared me wrong yet in the reaction I want.
