Need a little help on a dual angle layout.I have 2 ringer platinums and have already layed one out 60 x 4 x 30.That was from rightycomplex advice on a dual angle sweet spot layout.Which by the way rolls great when are walled up crappy houseshot has oil.It was nice for a couple of weeks.Now we are back to really dry houseshot actually plays like really short oil backends scream.I can use the 60 x 4 x 30 But I have to throw hard and what I call flat handed.It will work But not my a game.,We have a ton of those kind of guys in our town.They bitch about oil.So laneman says he has to make them happy cause theres more of them then guys who have hand and like oil.Lame excuse for saving money on oil.He thinks we are all dum I guess.Ok heres my stats.I been bowling for 40 years.No cherry here Averaged 220  urethane days and resin days

Which will work better for the drier houseshot with the screaming backends
65 x 6 x 45 pin up or 50 x 5 x 70 pin down.
My thinking is with the bigger val angle might tame down the screaming backend on the 50 x 5 x70. Tell me what you think guys.This dual angle is all new learning experience for me.Also I drill my own stuff.Nobody in this town has a clue about dual angle.

Another thought.  If you haven't already purchased Platinum Ringer #2 I'd suggest the Strike King.  In a few weeks the new LT-48 will also be very good on the dry.

Both of my Ringer's have been quite strong off the friction.  By merely using another layout you'll see SOME change, but a weaker ball, such as the Strike King, hits very hard when there is plenty of dry.  I think you'll see more contrast that way.

Thanks for the replies guys.I already have the 2nd platinum ringer.I will agree it is stronger than advertised.Plus with my tilt and rotation these dry houseshots we have here my balls see friction they do get left in a hurry.I understand about the lesser ball just thought maybe there was a drilling that might make the other work for dry.Maybe I just need save it for when I wear this one out.And on the Melee I have one and its ok But rolls more like a urethane ball to me.Its 80 x 5 1/2 x 40 Melee is super smooth.I have changed surface several times,just never have got it right.Its lacking in the carry department.The ball is great at leaving 10 pins more than anything I own.Maybe I need to just buy a Tropical Breeze and forget about my ringer.
