Sanded Powergroove Reactive layout...
« on: December 29, 2005, 05:38:52 AM »
So I dont feel like a complete idiot, what would a good layout be for this ball?  I am between a tweener and a cranker and play the ball at about 18-20 mph.  I play between the second and third wrrow with my ninja fury and swing it to anywhere between 8-4 board to the pocket.  the pin on it is above the niddle, just to the inside of the fingers.  any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am the official PRINCIPAL of the NU SKOOL.  In my skool, all pupils will throw OLD SKOOL equipment.  One may have a new ball or two, but th eprimary ball must be OLD SKOOL.  Newer is not always better.

I went pin in the center of grip(5 1/4 to my PAP) with a weighthole in the thumb quadrant(better known as RICO1) and applied Rough Buff on the box finish.  It gives a money reaction on a house pattern, blending a wet-dry and continuing through the deck very nicely.  It's pretty much the first ball out of my bag to check the area on the lanes.  It's nice to have this in my bag since it is a little bit different and they're so cheap on ebay you're not really losing much if you don't like it.
