How limited will I be with a 5-6" pin?  

I bought a V2 Sweet x-out, and it has a 5-6" pin with 3.5oz top weight.

I throw about 220 rpm and 15 mph - still don't know my PAP.

I'm looking for something to play down and in - long and skid/flip.

Any suggestions?

With that much top weight, you are going to have to keep the cg more towards you center of grip, because if it is kicked too far, you won't be able to use a big enough hole to make it legal.  I would suggest putting the pin above the bridge, place the cg about an inch diagonally downward and right of you center of grip, and putting a weighthole in the thumb positive quadrant.  This will help to get the ball rolling earlier withthe pin so high.  You may also want to use a 1000 abralon on the surface if it is still too far down the lane.
