scribes to lay out balls

how many pro shops still use scribes to lay out their balls? and why? is it more accurate than a grease pencil or

thanks guys there are not any proshops around me that uses a scribe but i see a few balls once in a while so i thought id ask. but thanks for all the replies and i do areee that alot of ppl would not lke lines engreved in thier ball. even if it dosent affect the proformence.

You can erase a grease pencil, try doing that with a scribe. They are UGLY...
