do a 5" to 5 1/2" pin to pap.  I would keep the mb in the strong position to get it to tip on the scorpion.

if it's too strong, DO NOT SHINE it, the taboo becomes a dart when shined.  I would hit the shell with a 4000 pad.

I think there isn't a lot of input because that truthfully is such an open-ended question.  Without seeing you actually bowl or know first hand the condition of the lanes you're bowling on, I don't know how anyone can answer that.  You would be best off going to your proshop with your current equipment and discuss with them what you specifically want to see out of your Taboo.

Can that ball work on Scorpion?  Just as well as any other ball can.  Me personally, I start with one of my stronger pieces, pin up.  I don't prefer solid over pearl or vice versa, I prefer whatever it is that's working for me.

My center put this pattern out for a tournament that had a 5000 dollar first place prize.  I ended up winning this tournament as well using a furious during qualifying playing down 7.  The ball was at 2000 with a four inch pin to pap mo weight hole.  During the match play round I moved in to 30 and played fourth arrow with a pin way up 5.5 inch from axis hyroad with a hole on my axis point.  So I would  say maybe a stronger mid level ball with a stronger layout on it.  Then as it breaks down use a stronger ball with a pin up drilling to help fight the carry down the scorpion develops.  Like I said it was the scorpion pattern that a center put out not the pba.  They put it out using a kegel kustodian machine though so I'm sure it was pretty close.  The pattern is 42 feet long you want your ball to read early on the fresh.  Hope this helped.
