Effect of a 5 inch pin
« on: February 17, 2009, 02:50:12 AM »
Quick question... Found a deal I'd like to move on, but not sure...

If I typically have more success with pin down drillings, will a 5 inch pin preclude laying out the ball or will it simply force the pin higher and potentially need a thumb positive weight hole, which I like anyway?

Signature? I don''t need no stinking signature...

You can still have the pin down with it 5 inches from your PAP.  I've done it before, it was 5 1/2" actually.

Hey lefty,

You can drill a 5 inch pin down depending on how much top weight is present, it will be more a matter of being able to drill out the thumb weight to meet USBC requirements.
