Drilling balls bought online in Vegas
« on: November 09, 2007, 09:41:10 AM »
I always have purchased balls online and taken them into a pro shop for drilling. I do this as I do not need all the attn. that a pro shop provides. I know what layout I want, I just require they copy my span off a ball I bring in and drill the layout I request.

Hence my question, for those of you in Vegas that do the same thing, what is the best pro shop to use for drilling a ball you bring inas far as price with grips and thumb slug?

Thanks!

Thanks Ric-

Do you know what they charge? I ask that as my experience has been that most shops frown on you bringing in something you didn't purchase from them though  charging of layout fees, drilling fees, excessive grip fees, excessive slug fee's, etc.

Thanks Ric,

But my post wasn't done to generate sarcasm. Simple question was all it was.

If you have a vested interest in K&K thats cool. But my post was regarding who does drilling at reasonable prices in Vegas, not name a friends pro shop that does drilling in Vegas.

If there is anyone else out there that may have some info regarding my question, I'd appreciate it.

Also try a shop called Bowling and More, Gonz. It's located in Las Vegas as well, and its just as good as any big name shop you'll find anywhere.  I've NEVER heard of them frowning on bals brought in from the internet, so you shouldnt have a problem there. Any questions, contact me.

K&K is well known. Im in SC and have delt with them. They are outstanding on customer service and know what they are doing. Here is their webiste http://www.bowlinglasvegas.com/ I would give them a call and see what they would charge. Has all their numbers and locations there. Hope that helps and good luck!

K&K is the best proshop in town hands down, they will treat you right if the ball came from mars or jupiter they do not care.

Tell them Barry sent you in, if you live in Green Valley go to Pecos and Wigwam store see Jeff or Flo there number is 735-2695.

If you live on the west side of town go Flamingo and JOnes and see Phil or Ken, there phone number is 876-2695.

Bowling and More is Johnny D nice guy he comes and goes from job to job, he will probably be mad at me for saying that.

I have had at least 600 balls drilled by K & K, all were good to go on the first try.
