Recently been playing around on a few of the patterns.  Normal drillings seem to be VERY left off the end of the pattern and if you go to less aggressive ball(s) they shoot past the breakpoint.  Most of the time forced very left and threading a needle off the friction.  Stay straight and i hook high or left.

Before any further, yes hand positions were attempted, balls were changed etc but most of my drillings are benchmark drills 5 x 45 x 45.

Do you recommend drillings with closer to axis (i.e. 1-1/2 away) or further (i.e. 5-1/2 range)?

If not what i questioned what do you do
