Singing the praises of Sarge
« on: October 04, 2005, 04:07:51 AM »
...Easter that is.

Whatever other mumbo jumbo you've heard about the Sarge Easter grip, I tried it out due to recurring pain in my ring finger, and for that it did wonders.

Other than the pain issue... I had trouble revving the ball for about a game til I got used to it, after which I had no problems creating as many revolutions as with a normal finger tip grip; It didn't seem to change my axis rotation much, but it did change my tilt a tad, I haven't measured it, but my track has migrated about 3/4 of an inch away from my grip.

Those were the most notable changes so far, I'm planning on tinkering with the pitchs and layout a bit. I'll post again if I find anything interesting.

Boon, try your middle finger with a semi fingertip 1" away, ring finger at zero, and thumb at 1/2 reverse.   Stretch it out.  As long as you use enough reverse in thumb and away in middle finger you won't hurt anything.

deadbait,

How can you recommend a drilling with those specs, without seeing the bowler's hand?

Not knowing the flexibility, strength or anything alse about the hand?

Kind of like a doctor recommending a surgical procedure over the internet, without seeing the patient.
