How do you measure the span between thumb and fingers edge of thumb to middle or edge of finger.
I hate ten pins but love the game of bowling with just the right ball to take them out.

If you are talking about measuring the span on the ball itself, edge to edge or cut to cut. If using inserts, you would need to take into account the thickness of the insert!

For a driller it is easiest to give the measurement in cut to cut distance.Then you tell him weather or not use use finger grips or thumb slugs.
