Span question
« on: March 01, 2016, 09:58:51 AM »
Most of my equipment was drilled when I was using a Robby's wrist support and the Ebonite support with the extended finger.  I stopped using these supports a couple of months ago and now it feels like I can't get the ball out on the lane.  More tape in the thumb hole helps a little but also causes me to sometimes hang in the ball.

I was wondering if having a slightly short span would cause this problem?

Yes it can be causing that. If you were measured with the wrist supports and now no longer using them it will be different

Your wrist is now in a different position more than likely, causing a different release angle plus the restriction the wrist supported created changing your grip...get it reevaluated

Thanks guys.  I think I'd better check with my ball driller and get re-measured.

Thanks again.
