Place it on your VAL and down 2" or so assuming you have a long enough pin distance to allow for it without getting excess finger weight.
Curious what ball is it and how far above the midline are you placing the pin.
There is a big difference between a 5" pin that is up 1.5" vs 3.5".
Basically the lower the pin the lower you will need to place the balance hole if you are concerned about flaring over the middle finger.

Just looked at your profile and you appear to track fairly low going by your PAP.
Why do you want to raise the bowtie?
Does the 60123 stand for Elgin?

yes i reside in elgin,i used to clip the finger but i fixed that but know i clip the thumb on the first and second ring sometimes and my driller wants to keep the bowtie up so that roll pattern stays the same.

The bowtie location does not affect how close you track to the thumb.
It is strictly a result of your release.
The track that is closest to your thumb is the release track and the track migrates away from it as the ball flares.
The only way to increase the distance is to increase your axis tilt.
