Question on thumb pitches
« on: December 20, 2005, 07:36:48 AM »
I am curious as to if i can take and change the pitch in my thumb from under palm about 3/8" and reverse about 1/4"  to 0 0? without plugging or a thumb slug.

I forgot to mention that my thumb is barely bigger than 31/32".  If that helps any.  If not to 0 0, can it be changed at all?

Well, i tried a drastic change in my thumb, by going from 3/8 rev and 1/4 back to the pitch in the above post.  And my driller hardly EVER has thumb slugs in stock.  I was just looking for a quick fix.  I have a terrible blister on the left side of my thumb (if you were looking at the back)  It comes whenever i have to bowl more than 6 games in a set.  My travel league has two 3 game sets every two weeks.  That is when it happens, and i want to go to something nearly 0 0 to see if it will help at all.

Plug it and redrill.  With that large a change you'll probably drill through the side of a slug.  --  JohnP
