Spare Tire drilling question ?
« on: February 25, 2005, 05:47:20 AM »
Just received my Roto Grip spare tire from Buddies. Another
great transaction and timely delivery but that beside the point.
If I know my initial first roll (oil line) to determine my pap, how
can I drill this ball so the tire looks as though it is rolling down
straight. I would appreciate some of the expert ball drillers out there
with some help. I while back ( a few years ago ) I was able to get
a skull ball to spin for a customer, "the Linda Blair drilling"
but forgot the procedure.

Thanks

Seems that after you find your pap you would just set it up with the PAP in the middle of the hub of the tire and layout your grip around that.

Yes, use the PAP for your spare release.  Yes, they're saying the same thing - note the posting times.  --  JohnP
