Does thumb weight make a ball hook/roll earlier?
I just got an Illusion pro pin drilled pin 5 inches to pap above bridge, cg stacked up and right one inch of thumb hole like this

This ball has 3/4 pos. side weight and 3/4 thumb weight.  Top weight is 2.04 oz.

Could I remove thumb weight with an X hole without removing much sideweight, and would this give me more length.  How much of a difference would this make?
