Spit fire drilling
« on: October 28, 2008, 01:03:07 PM »
I have a spit fire im looking for something that goes long, and flips when I play inside on our second shift league I want to drill it 6 x 4 . My axis is 5 1/2 x 1/2 up 16 mph 300 revs. For me that is pin 1/2 inch above the bridge, and the cg kicked to the right. Would this  be a good idea...

Sounds like a good idea to me.  I drilled a spit fire just like this a couple of weeks ago looking for the same reaction.  Doesn't work for me on a fresh shot, but took it in on a Friday night after league to cosmic bowl with some friends and it got down the lane very easily and made a strong turn to the pocket.  Looking forward to taking it with me to a tournament on wood lanes this weekend where the second round is burnt.
