I know that the pitch in a thumb outfitted with a Switch Grip is in the hole, not the grip.
Question is... How much pitch COULD you put in a Switch Grip with a slug for experimentation without hitting the inner sleeve? I know the answer can't be zero, because let's face it... You have to nail a Switch Grip perfectly so that you don't change the pitch (assuming a slug instead of an insert of course).
I have been told it's impossible, but that's simply not logical. In fact, I would further postulate that the smaller the thumb, the more pitch you could add/subtract.
I'm betting it's about 1/8 lateral, something I would like to try.... What's the right answer?
Thanks in advance
