strange PAP
« on: January 06, 2009, 04:55:10 AM »
Need some suggestions.  I have a customer that is thumb dominant, that is, he rotates his thumb around his fingers rather than vice versa.  His PAP is 1" over and 3 1/2" up. His axis rotation is about 60 degrees and his axis tilt is about 7 degrees.  I am looking for some drilling suggestions for a Hammer Sauuce (customer's request).  It will be used on a 41' modified THS.  He wants midlane revs with a strong backend.  Thanks for any input.

this is very interesting axis rotation.  i would 2nd check that axis point.  How good is this bowler?  160-170 ave?  or just a fluke axis pt and the guy bowls regionals?  if it's the first i'de pin it over middle finger and CG in palm.  if it's the latter, you better get a LOW top weighted ball b/c the CG will end up over bridge if drilled for this individual.  the pin will end up way left.

It's the axis tlt I find unusual for this PAP location.  He tracks almost the full circumference of the ball?  --  JohnP

No kidding. I'm trying to visualize him throwing the ball and my head just exploded.
