Title: Suggestions on a couple of new balls.
Post by: CRSmith on November 20, 2011, 06:53:55 AM
Got a Sideways with 5 oz top weight and a 3 inch pin. Also have a Shred-It with the MB right on the CG.

What are some good layouts I could use on these two balls? My initial thought was to put the pin over the fingers on the Sideways, and drill deeper fingers to remove some weight.

On the Shred-It, I was leaning toward stacking the pin and CG/MB.

Thanks for looking.

I think the "shed it" is a symmetrical ball, should not have a "mb" on it..

There needs to be a sticky on top of this forum...about not asking unless you know your PAP, tilt, and general ball roll (revrate, speed).

There is no drilling "pin up over the fingers"...for Mike Fagan that is leverage and for Pete Weber that's a 5.5" pin.  There is also no generic drilling that works for everyone...we need to know what you're bowling on, what ball you want these to fit around, etc.

Russell,

1:30 pin, 1/2 oz side doesn't work for everyone???
