i don't really know much about drilling or this ball to be truthful but i have a friend thats hooking me up with a single drill OI thats in really good shape for $20. Right now it's drilled for a righty, so i have to get it redrilled. The main question i have is, Is there anyway that i can get it drilled to be somewhat smooth? I have a punisher that is really really jumpy and i need something a little smoother. I'm beginning to think that this isn't the right ball to get a somewhat smooth reaction out of after reading some reviews, but for $20 i couldn't turn it down.

I think that the OI definately can be a smooth archy type ball with the correct drilling. Mine has a very smooth reaction. I bought mine second hand and just fixed the span. I am not positive about specs on the drill however I seem to remember that the pin is way above midline (5-6"?) and to the right of ring finger with the cg backtoward grip center.
I would tell your driller what it is you are looking for in a reaction and he should be able to set it up.
Or if you decide it is not what you want LMK and we'll deal!
