Vaccu lifts..Pro's and Cons
« on: January 17, 2011, 04:07:47 PM »
Title say's it all. I am thinking about switching to vaccu lifts and was just curious what some of the pros and cons were. I am hoping a I can get some responses from some users who have used the technique. Thanks in advance for any help.

I have been using VACU style grips for 5-6 years now, maybe longer.  I use ovals, have never tried it myself and have only done 1-2 customers with VACU style grips with the lift grips.

Pros: All my balls feel the same.  Grips are snug all year round no matter what temperature.  All my balls feel the same.  Did I mention that my grips are snug all the time and they feel the same all year round?  LOL  (feeling spunky today)

Cons: Can't really think of any.  More women should try them, since their hands change so much.

I agree with all of the above, one downside if there is one is that you have to replace them more frequently.  Mine wear out after about 18 games.  But it's well worth it.  I've learned to replace them myself with the right tools.  I've been using for about 7-8 years now and haven't looked back.

I've got to get my wife to try them.....I think she'll really like it.

They do wear out faster, but it's totally worth it for the comfort and consistency they offer.  Doesn't matter if it's late in a tournament on a 100 degree weekend, or my first time picking up a ball in a week on a cold January day.  The finger grips always fit the same way!

Thinking about giving these a try, currently using Vise power lift grips.  Will the Vaccu grips fit in the existing holes, or do the holes have to be modified in any way?

As mentioned they wear out quicker to me. That's the only downside I have seen with them...
