If you can't say something positive why in the hell would you say anything. This is the problem with this site. I thought I only would read remarks like this in the MISC section.

 

There are drillers out there that know how to setup a layout off of the info......you do not.

If your speed/rev rate is balanced/equal stick with a total sum of around 105 is a good place to start! A lot depends on what conditions your bowling on, ths, sport, etc. and the pattern length. Shorter patterns you want to ball you be more even and not so much skid/flip. Longer patterns you want to ball to retain axis rotation longer so it doesn't burn up/use to much energy before the end of the pattern. Lower drill angles get the ball to transition from the skid phase sooner and higher drill phases transition later. You have to determine the shape you want and get a ball that fits that reaction and then your drill angle, pin to pap, and val angle. Higher val angles transition sooner and more even/like a rainbow shape. Lower val angle respond to friction the strongest/hockey stick shape! Hope this helps! Bruce

With the information you have Mo or another knowledgable member will help you out. You will also want to include what ball you are going to be drilling and also what type of reaction/shape you are looking for. Also if its going to be used for certain sport patterns or just a THS.
