I am currently redoin my arsenal and lookin for helpful ideas for layouts. Here is my info:

pap: 3 1/4 over by 2 up
Sarge easter, left hand, meduim to hig rev rate

here is what im working with, sure fire, rapid fire, attitude shift, mighty shift, tropical, t road solid, domination,

i am in the process of pluggin all these beasts up, got em used in trding, but they are all in great shape, Im trying to get all the bases covered, im just trying to get ideas, cause i know i have an unusual situation, any ideas are welcome

That is one of the more unusual PAPs I have seen in a while.
I'd be inclined to save more on the arsenal and pay a good Silver Level coach to help reduce the early turn. I think that may be the cause of it. A lot depends on your age and adaptability and inclination to change. I think it may be a good thing for you, but, of course, it's only a suggestion.

Any idea what your axis tilt is?
Some pros with a PAP like yours have a low tilt, that is a large track diameter. If you like, check your track diameter and tilt here:

As for drillings, as things are now, I think you have to consider pin positions above the middle finger hole or below it, depending on your tilt.

thank you for your suggestion, honestly if you could watch me throw it you would see no early turn lol, i know its crazy but its true, i do have a large track diameter, i will get exact measurements on monday, but if you where to watch me throw a ball if would look very normal and you would be completely shocked when you saw my flare, i track maybe a inch away from my thumb at most, but am quite far from the fingers.

That's why I added that bit about the track. Michael Fagan of the PBA does that also. SHort PAP but large diameter track. As I said it was just a suggestion.

The pin suggestions still stands. If you see any of his videos, look at his ball and you'll see that type of pin location.

I suggested the lower pin to handle the track's long distance from the finger holes, especailly for flippy balls like the Domination.

In the video, I think I see where that distance of trackl from fingers comes from. I think I see it in the follow-thru, you sort of pull your hand across your body, maybe just across the underside of your chin. Maybe a left over from when you learned to bowl and you subconsciously tried to make the ball hook a little bit extra. Do you naturally get a lot of backend on every ball? Might be a high degree of angle of rotation.

I know someone that has a similar PAP and was told that he was thumb dominant. In other words, instead of rotatin the fingers around the thumb, he rotates the thumb around the fingers.

thanks for posting the video joe, as for getting a lot of backend on my stuff, as joe can attest my angualarity is not very much, my carry is awful, and i think tht the perspective of the camera angle makes it look like my follow through goes sideways but as far as i can see it is normaly straight, but i think you might be rightabout a little sideways action at releasepoint on bad shots. as for the rotating the thumb around the fingers im very interested in how to fix that or even trying to understand what that means.

Nope, they're 2 different things.

Angle of rotation is basically your finger position at the point of release. Using a clock, for a right hander, if your fingers are at 6:00, it is said you have 0 degrees of rotation (Walter Ray Williams). If your fingers are at 3:00, you are said to have 90 degrees of rotation (Pete Weber). If your fingers are at 4:30, you have 45 degrees. Anywhere in between, ... well you get the idea.

Axis tilt is another matter.
The vertical inclination of your axis at release. This can be determined by measuring your track diameter (for every 1" < 13.5" = 6 2/3Â° of tilt) The less axis tilt you have, the sooner the ball will go into a roll. Higher degrees of axis tilt promotes skid.

cool. well on monday i will head down to the lanes and get some good video to put up, the one joe has was from the summer when we were just practicng, i will also measure my diamtere so we can get a full idea of whats happeneing

ur arsenal looks good. i havent seen the vids but the only thing i could suggest is a ball for ultra heavy or long patterns. maybe a dimension since you seem to like storm.

hey guys thanks for the great ideas, here is an update as to more accurate info. I ditched the sarge easter thing and im gonna stick with regular fingertip:

pap 3-3/16 over by 1 7/8 up
track diameter is 12 inch
left handed, medium revs, medium to fast speed
