FWIW - A 1.5" hole removes 125% more material than a 1" hole of the equivalent depth. I'd be more worried about diminished core dynamics at that size and depth. It's likely not on the Jayhawk chart since it's illegal to use a hole larger than 1.25" for balance purposes.
Static weight has little to no effect on overall ball reaction.
Also - I reviewed the USBC Equip. and Spec. manual and it's illegal to deliver a ball without the inner assembly locked in place or to drill the pilot hole for the outer assembly deeper than the installed outer assembly.
