Switch Grips no longer fit
« on: April 14, 2010, 02:27:43 PM »
I am not sure what happened, but recently some of my outers have either gotten warped or somehow are fitting tighter, especially near the top
This past week I have had trouble being able to get my thumbs to lock and in one of my balls the inner is stuck and won't come out.  The removal tool is not working either.
has anybody else had this problem?
I am thinking of shaving/filing down all of my inners so i won't have this problem.

I left a couple in my garage overnight.
The odd thing is that the inners have swollen but the outers haven't grown.  If anything they are fitting smaller.
I am just trying to figure out whether trying to shave them would work.  2 of the balls are unusable right now and I may have to reslug them

I highly doubt it's the inners. It must be the outer sleeve in the ball. As for the one that is stuck, I've had a shard of a pin stuck in the groove and it was extremely hard to get out. Also, if there is dried glue in the bottom of the hole, the newest inner sleeve can get lodged.
