Best Layout for......
« on: March 11, 2007, 10:47:43 AM »
Pin is 1-2" , top weight is 3.7 oz. I will like to have the input of the drilling gurus of this site for the best layout for a 15 pound Fury bowling ball that has the following specs Pin is 1-2" , topweight is 3.7 oz.

My speed is around 18, revs around 290 I am a tweener and I will like the ball to react from the 3 to 2 arrow on a 40 foot oily pattern.  4 7/8  1/2 down PAP

Will appreciate your help on this matter.

I think the best layout should be for you, not for the ball, give us some profile and what you are expecting from this ball.  Sure we will figure something for you.

Without knowing your PAP, I would suggest to put the pin at 5" away from your PAP, and below fingers level, and CG kick right to roughly maintain 3/4-7/8 of positive side weight, so you can have the option to put a hole is needed.

If you can let us know your PAP will be a lot better.
