The effect of thumb pitch on finger lateral
« on: June 01, 2021, 10:01:34 AM »
Left handed bowler... minor arthritic distortion of fingers, but not major. My current lateral finger requirements are 1 inch left on ring and 1/8 LEFT on middle, way off the norm. It seems to me when I rotate my hand that adding right lateral thumb would move my fingers to the right as well. True? Opposite? I've looked quite pitch videos recently and no one mentions any relationship in this area. Myabe it's my imagination?

What are you trying to do adding right to your thumb and how much?  Do you have irritation on your thumb or are you chasing the pitch unicorn?

If your fingers require those pitches and you are comfortable in the ball most of the time you are bette off to leave things alone or you will go in a big circle trying different things to end up back where you started.
