Full Roller drilling's reaction in a 3/4 roller's hand?
« on: July 06, 2005, 04:53:01 PM »
Say a normal 3/4 roller, PAP of about 4 3/4 right, 1/4 down with a high axis rotation(70-90degrees) were to throw a ball with the pin in a full roller position(about 7o'clock), besides reversing the flare, what would the reaction on the lane look like?  Any chance of continuation off of the breakpoint?  Or more Hook-Stop?

um, without a ball and my quarter scale handy, i'd say your going to be getting a pin to negative axis point distance of about 4 to 6 inches dependant on how low the pin is and how far out it is. so if it's a pearl probably smooth but continuous, if a solid likely more hook set.
