Layout on a passion
« on: February 11, 2006, 12:37:20 AM »
I want to lay this out for heavy oil.  My stats are in my profile.  I was thinking of doing a stacked leverage with pin above my ring but the cg and rad not being in line is throwing me off.  I'd like to have 1 ounce of positive sideweight without a weight hole.  Is this possible and how do I drill it?

Stats--15.5 oz.  Top weight 2.7oz  Pin 2.5 inches

Here is a pic of the way I layed it out.  Hopefully this works.  Let me know what you think.

heres what i think u should do with this. Put the pin right of Ring finger and 1/2 inch below. Put the CG in ur palm, and the MassBias should go stacked under the Pin. This is a max hook drilling that should work great on heavy oil.

Thanks for the advice.  That's what I was kinda thinking.  I know everyone says the rad is more important than the cg when determining layouts, but I didn't want a weight hole.  I think I'm going to drill it this way.  If this cracks, I'm hoping storm will replace it or give me another ball.....

shouldnt crack, if you hit the pin just make sure you put a bit if glue inside the hole before you put an inset in there.

That Pic with the scribed markings on it will be a good drilling. Drill it up and let us know how it goes.

I drilled it up that way, hit it with some rough buff and will throw it tomorrow night.  Will let everyone know how it goes.
