Thumbless Tracks
« on: December 23, 2005, 09:26:43 AM »
For all you thumbless bowlers, where do you track and where is your PAP?  I bowl thumbless and apparently I'm somewhat of an oddity.  My track is quite normal, close to the fingers and thumb, maybe a tad inverted.  As close as I can figure my PAP is 5 3/8" and zero up and down.  Most of the thumbless bowlers I've seen tend to hit the middle finger hole and track way away from the thumb hole.
If you don't bowl thumbless but drill for thumbless bowlers what have you seen as far as their tracks?

I throw thumbless and track with in 1" from the middle finger and just clip the thumb hole on the first flare  I think I was told once that my pap  was close to the 5 3/8" range also  I try to place all pins above bridge if at all possible because I can flare a ball all the way around the ball and clip the weight hole, any drillings below the bridge thumps the thumb hole really bad.
