Drilling Guru's

Theoretically - If I drill a ball with a pin 4 from the pap and the pin to CG distance is 2 inches and it is stacked.

o o P

 gc cg

 O

And then I drill the exact same type ball with the same pin placement but the CG is more like 4 in away.

o o P

 gc
----cg
 O

Are they going to react the same?   If not, what should I expect.

Respectfully submitted

I think there has been a pretty exhaustive discussion of this in the "static weights" topic...  If the ball is asymmetrical, then there will be a noticeable difference.  In symmetrical core balls, there would be no noticeable difference (assuming your rev rate is under 450 rpms), unless you used a weight hole in one of the layouts.  Both symmetric core balls with a 4" pin to PAP and no weight holes, will react alike.  (this is my understanding on the topic from reading other posts...)
