Top Weight
« on: January 07, 2004, 07:19:17 AM »
How much top weight in in undrilled 15lb ball, is to much to lay the ball out axis-leverage? I guess I'm asking how much side weight can you pull out of a 15lb ball with a legal sized weight hole?

Thanks

in an undrilled one they vary in top weight and a lot of time u can request certin top weights the lower the top weight the more u can get an axis leverage also for max results get a pin in balls with low top weight

A 1 3/16" hole drilled 3" deep removes roughly 2.7 oz.
Good luck & good bowling

You can usually get a ball with 4 oz. top weight, to be legal with a 1 1/4" bit, drilled deep (3 1/2"). =:^D
