mb position

What does a mb position close to the thumb do?
What does a mb position further a way do?

How does MB positioning affect ball reaction?

Additionally, it's all relative to strength of the MB itself.

I track at 5 3/8 over for me it very strong position, I do not have alot of tilt probably 12-13 degrees. Later ball motion with a very strong backend reaction.

When I bring the mb towards the VAL, the ball rolls forever the closer it gets to the VAL. Personally I do not like any VAL higher MB balls I have ever tried, I like to see the ball make a motion towards the pins.

To me why bother buying a high MB ball if it is going to just be pure roll and for me never hit worth beans. I prefer balls like Legends for heavier oil's or just use my favorite mb over 1 inch right and below the thumb.

MB next to your thumb isnt the same as MB next someone elses thumb. Its the distance from your pap and the drilling angle that you should be looking at.

Look on the Morich site at the chart for PSA to PAP distances. It will tell you what roll characteristics you can expect with different PAP to PSA distances and different drilling angles.
