Drilling Questions
« on: October 25, 2013, 06:35:35 AM »
Hello Everyone,
I have another question for drillers. I have a very good back end on my ball with the regular drilling meaning my ring and index finger being 1/2 inch from marking center to center but after thinking about it I happen to have a kinetic energy pearl by track and wanted to try something different so I moved my ring finger to an inch from my center line to center of ring finger hole and kept my middle finger the same at 1/2 inch to center from my center line it looks odd to say the least cause my ring finger is way out BUT what happened was freaking amazing....
I ended up with the best ball I now have the turn on that ball compared to my regular drilled balls is unreal.. The ball looks like I am throwing it with two hands that's how many rev's I now have.. my question is,, Is it from moving my ring finger way out causing my hand to really come off of it??? Or is it just the way the kinetic Energy Pearl roll's?? I think it is the drilling layout I have a few more balls coming in and can't wait to try this but I REALLY think I may be on to something here.. Maybe it's just then way I bowl I don't know but shot a 788 last night had 510 by my second game which I can and have done with my other balls drilled the old fashion way but my carry and ball roll was nothing short of amazing with the ring finger being pushed out an extra 1/2 inch.. What do you guys think?? Was it the ball or the way I drilled it???

It is likely changing your release because your now holding and coming around the ball differently. More torque.

If your wanting to check rev rate you can go on youtube and learn how to do so.
…… you can't  add a physics term to a bowling term and expect it to mean something.
