Title: Tried a RICO drill-Nice!
Post by: SpareK on February 09, 2009, 03:56:36 AM
Personal specs: 13.5-14.5 rpm, 175-200 revs, Pap 5 1/8 x 5/8. Drilled up a Scorcin Inferno w/ 2 3/4 pin distance. I have a high track so I moved the pin up 1 inch up and drilled the balance hole at 6 3/4 as recommended. Really smooth!!I really like the reaction. A few of my friends have commented on how well this transitions and finishes. They are so impressed they are planning to have one drilled up. If you don't have this pattern in your arsenal, get one, you won't regret it. By the way the ball was refinished to 2000 abralon.

i agree, I have recenty put it on 3 balls, with the same setup as you, being the pin 1 inch up.

One of the best reactions I have seen. Smooth and really continuous, It seems to carry very well. It also allows me to play more up the boards which is becoming my strong game.

It will definitly be going on more balls in the future.
