Layout for BWP
« on: November 26, 2007, 10:10:15 AM »
I'm thinking about buying a new Black Widow Pearl. The one that I've been throwing does fairly well for me. It is drilled with the pin right of the ring finger and cg + mass bias stacked underneath.
For a (fairly) high speed player with high revs what would be a good layout to get a little more reaction in the front part of the lane.
Curious
And also, do you think I should buy another one at all, or go with a different ball for my money?

If you just want to make it start a little sooner, either lower the pin...say just below the finger line...maybe an inch under and keep everything else the same...or you could just spring for a black widow solid and drill it the same. that should provide you with not only a touch earlier...but a little more overall too. kind of a two birds with one stone thing.
