TV show drillings............
« on: March 19, 2006, 12:58:03 PM »
I've noticed that Norm's Ace had the pin above the middle finger with the Cg kicked out to the right of his grip midline.
I also noticed that Chris's EU had the pin under the middle finger and Cg also kicked out to the right.
Not being an expert, what are these drillings for??
 Thanks for all replies...........

Pin up gets the ball down the lane, before it snaps. Pin under just gets the ball to rev up a little earlier and more of a hard arc.

Not knowing the bowlers PAP any of my responses are merely guesses.

On the EU the pin under the MF will create a smooth reacting ball that will help tame wet/dry lane conditions.

Not knowing where the MB was on Norm's Ace makes the next one a little tougher, but the pin above the middle finger will get the ball to skid further down the lane before the MB can kick in and take over the rest of the reaction.
